I have read through your explanation of what you have put together about the Mormon church. I am LDS and know the Journal of Discourses quite well and have looked up everything you have so called "quoted". Allot of which was incorrect. You take allot of license in saying things in your own words and it totally degrades the truth of what was written or said. It is disappointing that you cannot allow others to worship as they believe IF you don't like what they believe. If it challenges what you believe, then find out how to shoot it down. I am sorry for your ignorance of my church but more than anything your denigration of it, is truly un-Christlike. When will you understand what harm you do to Christianity in the name of "self righteousness". Whose side do you really help when you degrade another Christian, to exalt yourself. We may say other churches don't have the complete truth but we do not produce vile, untruthful unchristian, tons of material to the world about yours. Who really stands in contempt, and really lives what they believe? I leave that question to you, me, and God to answer

I understand you are upset, because you believe Joseph Smith is really a prophet. The evidence shows he is really a false prophet, who has misled millions of people, and many of these souls are now lost because of this man's false claims.
Now you make the following statement:
It is disappointing that you cannot allow others to worship as they believe IF you don't like what they believe.I know you really do not mean this, Mormons send out missions all over the world, with the soul purpose of getting people to accept Joseph Smith and the LDS as "True". In order to accept this, many people are required to renounce their current faith and become members of the LDS. So how could honestly make such a statement?
Secondly, we care about souls, this is our primary reason. If it was just a matter of some secondary error, I would not make a big deal. But the LDS and Joseph Smith are not about little minor mistakes. They present another "Gospel" and another "Jesus". Jesus warns about such, He says many will die and go into eternity, thinking they "Know Him", He will tell them, "I never Knew You".
21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22 "Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'

I know you are sincere and think you know the same Jesus, as the Jesus in the Bible, the problem is the Jesus of the LDS is a creation of Joseph Smith and the LDS, he is "Another" Jesus. Please, I challenge you prove Joseph Smith is really a prophet, We at Truthnet will be happy to meet and debate with LDS church officials anywhere you want.....
The "Truth" does not need to hide from the facts. If the LDS and Joseph Smith are true,lets argue the facts.
Now regarding another charge,
Whose side do you really help when you degrade another Christian, to exalt yourself. I understand your charge, you think we are helping Satan, by making a charge against the LDS and Joseph Smith, and then trying to vault ourselves up. Ok, first you are making the assumption, that you are a biblical Christian, well that not the case. Mormons "claim" to be Christian, but the fact is they do not believe in the same Jesus as the rest of Christianity.
I do not mean to be hard on you, but you
"do not" know the Jesus in the Bible, you know the creation of Joseph Smith. Just compare the Jesus of the Bible and Mormon for yourself. They are not the same. Jesus did not marry Mary, Martha and Mary, three women! He was not the brother of Satan!, He was not one of many gods!

Paul himself, dealt with false apostles and prophets in Corinth, this is what he had to say about them and Satan.

R.E, please examine the evidence about Joseph Smith, don't let your emotions get in the way of your eternity. No one here is trying to exalt themselves, there was not even a name attached to the article your read. Do you know why? because it is intentional, just so no one will be exalted. Salvation is our goal. We want Mormons to find the truth.
Jesus is the Only Way, the Jesus of the Bible, not the LDS jesus.
