The politics in Israel is forcing Benjamin Netanyahu to come to terms with one of his main rivals, Moshe Feiglin a former member of the  Likud party.  He left Likud and formed his own party Zehut, two platforms of Zehut are its positions on the legalization of Marijuana and the rebuilding of the Third Temple.

Netanyahu needs to form a majority and Feiglin’s party was drawing conservative votes from Likud, without those votes Netanyahu cannot form a majority of right-leaning votes for Likud. Feiglin has agreed to withdraw from the election. According to some reports he was promised of title of minister of health.

Why is this important?  Because Moshe Feiglin is the only politician calling for the rebuilding of the Third Temple. The Third Temple plays a major role in the last days as one of the chief events ushering the Tribulation period according to the Seventy Weeks of Daniel (Daniel 9:24-27, Matthew 24:15).  Moshe Feiglin will be an influence on the new government, including movement toward the rebuilding of the Third Temple.

The Knesset has 120 seats, Netanyahu’s party needs to form a majority of 60 plus 1 to rule Israel, Moshe Feiglin’s support is vital to getting the majority. His support comes with a price; Israel needs to support Zehut’s platforms including building the Third Temple.  Keep an eye on the Third Temple, it is akin to watching the prophetic clock on the wall.

Another party has now passed the "Threshold" to be seated in the Knesset,Otzmah Yehudit (Jewish Power), headed by Itamar Ben-Gvir, once a party polls for to have 4-seats in the Knesset they become viable. This party is considered far-right and is linked to the late Rabbi Meir Kahane who is considered one of the first assassinations of Al-Qaeda on American soil in 1990. This will put all the more pressure on Netanyahu do appease these growing movements in Israel. This will also Israel at odds with the Muslim and secular world which rejects any change in the status of Jerusalem's Temple mount.
